Lancashire FA Council It was agreed to nominate A E Morton
for this Council & to enter for Senior Cup.
Smoking Concert It was decided to hold this at the Exchange
Station Hotel on Monday 28th inst at 7.30 pm.
N. McBain This player appeared before the Board re
his request to be placed on transfer. After discussion
the matter was left in the hands of the Directors in
London this weekend to have a talk with him.
Spanish Tour Secy reported receipt of a telegram from
the Barcelona F.C asking if we would play a
match v N'cle United on the 22nd May in place of
the match on the 15th. It was agreed to do so
subject to their paying us an additional £200.
Hull Hospital Cup An invitation for us to play a match
v Hull City for this Cup was declined.
21 Goodison Avenue It was agreed to give the tenant of this
house permission to exchange the tenancy with
another person.
Use of Ground The Lpool County FA were granted the use
of GP. for their Amateur Cup Final on May 7th.
Hardy (Stockport C) Letter read from club that they were not
prepared to part with this player.
Freeman (M'bro.) A similar letter was also read re this
player, but Mr J Fare reported that he had heard
there may be a possibility of the Club eventually
doing so.
