Spanish Tour The Secretary submitted new quotations re the
proposed trip to Barcelona & stated that the
price was now increased by over £11 per head.
It was agreed that the Chairman go fully into
the matter & if necessary obtain further quotations.
An application for us to play 2 matches
in Madrid following those in Barcelona was gone
into & it was decided to ask the Real Madrid
FC for a guarantee of £500 for these.
Bootle Borough FC Letters read from this Club & Mayor of Bootle
asking us to play them a match on their ground
in aid of their fund. It was agreed to offer to
send a mixed team on a Wednesday to be
mutually arranged.
St Francis Xaviers It was agreed to play proposed match
FC with this College XI on Monday Mar 24th next.
24 Gwladys St. The tenant of this house (J Green) was given
permission to erect a Wireless Aerial providing
he made good any damage caused to roof &c.
Reports re Players J Fare reported favorably on the following
Raith Rovers v Dundee players viz Morris (CH Raith) & Jennings (CF. Raith)

(CF) St Johnstone & recommended he be followed up.
He stated Forsyth (Bathgate) had played halfback.

reports re this player, but it was decided generally
to leave the question of new full backs over until
nearer the end of the season, but to conserve our
energies on looking for centre forward & inside right.
New Brighton v Secy & H. Makepeace reported that none of the
Stoke players in this match had shown outstanding
form.
