[Special Meeting of Directors held at Bradford Hotel, Liverpool on Thursday 26th April 1923] Present Messrs E Green (Chair), A Coffey, Dr J C Baxter, J Sharp & A. R. Wade. Freeman (Oldham) Secy reported on his interview with the Directors of the Oldham F.C which they stated that the lowest price they would take was £3500. It was decided to make them a Counter offer of £3000 plus whatever accrued share of benefit the player would be entitled to and to let us know by 11 o'c tomorrow (Friday) morning. Picnic It was decided that the 4 players Salt, Jeffes, Young & Alford also be taken on the picnic to Windermere. Confirmed W. C.
