Reports of Matches A report was received of the match
v Burnley (a) 1-1.
Reports re Players Mr. R. T. Francis reported favorably
on the play of Tootle & Settle (Skelmersdale).
Mr. W. J. Sawyer reported that Pearson
of Accrington Stanley did not play, and that
none of the remainder were of use to us.
The Chairman & Mr.E. Green reported that
owing to injuries received by the opposition
they were unable to give a true report of the
abilities of Adamson (F. B.) of Bury.
The Secy. reported favorably on
Yarwood (R. B.) & Jepson (C. F.) of Atherton, and
it was decided that he watch them again
on Sat. next with powers, if satisfactory, to
fix them up.
