E. on 9th inst. £1791.19.2 gross, Tax £376.5.3 The percentage received from Oldham Ath. £149.19.5 & Half gate from Newton le Willows £3.10.0. The Bank Balce. was reported to be £2996.15.7. Dr Trainers Report Trainer Elliott reported the following players unfit viz. Grenyer, Thompson, Garrett, Crossley, Jones & Alford. Reports of Matches Reports were received of the matches v P. N. E. 0-1, Oldham Res. 1-1, Newton le Willows 0-2 & Tranmere Rovers 1-3. Reports re Players Mr. J. Fare reported favorably on Hayes (C. F.), Hayes (O. L.) of Furness Withy & Tootle (R. B.) Skelmersdale. Messrs Francis & Clayton reported favorably on the R. B. of Huyton Quarry & the R. B. & I. R. of Kirkdale. Mr. J. Craig's report on various Scottish players was read.
