Enquiries re Players Letters were read from the Burnley, Stoke,
B'burn Rovers & Bolton Wdrs. F.C.s that they were not
prepared to negotiate for the players offered.
Reports re Matches Mr. A. Coffey reported that none of the
Football League Irish players in this match were of use to us.
v Irish League
Forrest (Clyde) Mr. J. Fare & Secy. reported that the display
of this player was not good.
Gowanlock Mr. H. Makepeace reported that this man
did not play & that none of the other players
were of the required standard for us.
Fishwick (Chorley) Mr. H. Cooke reported favorably on this
player & it was decided that Messrs Makepeace
& Kirkwood watch him again in replayed Cup tie.
Cowan (Dundee) Mr. J. Craig reported very favorably
on this player's display. Letter was also read
from Dundee that they were not at present
prepared to discuss the question of his transfer.
Journey to Nottingham Decided that the team journey to
Nottingham on Friday 20th inst.
Fazackerley The Birmingham & Hull City F.C.s having
enquired re this player, it was decided to ask
them for a fee of £2000.
