J. Craig's report Mr. J. Craig reported very favorably on
Forrest (C. H.) Clyde, F. Walker (I. L. 3rd Lanark), McAlpine
(I. L. Queens Park) & McColgan (L. B. Albion Rovers).
Income Tax They reported result of his enquiries re
how other clubs were assessed under Sch. A & it
was decided to inform the Authorities that the
rental value of our ground was £800.
Chrystals Concerts It was decided to purchase 18 tickets
at a cost of £2.2.0.
Players for Transfer Secy. was instructed to write to certain
clubs stating that one may be prepared to
transfer Jones, Fazackerley & Brewster & the
fees were fixed at £3000, £2500 & £2400 respectively.
Moffat Letter read from Tranmere Rovers stating
that they were not prepared to negotiate for this
player. Secy. reported an enquiry from Dunfermline
Athletic to which he had replied.
Player to watch Mr. J. Fare was deputed to watch Paton
(I. F.) N'cle United on Sat. next as the club had
offered him to us for £1000.
Irish F. A. It was decided to agree to the request
to release Irvine to play; if selected, for Ireland
v England at Birmingham on 21 prox.
W. R. Clayton It was decided to send a letter of
condolence with this ex Director on the death
of his Son, & also to send a wreath.
Next Meeting Ordered that next meeting be held at
Goodison Park on Tuesday 3rd prox. at 6.30 pm.
