Irish Players It was decided that Messrs Fare & Secy.
proceed to Belfast to watch several matches
during Easter.
Barrow F. C. Letter read from this club that they
could not now accept May 7th. Left to
Secy. to try & arrange another date.
L'pool County It was agreed to enter the Reserve
Medal Competition Team for this competition, and also to
grant the use of the ground for Semi-
finals & Final on May 12th, 13th & 14th.
Gray Letter read agreeing to our paying
this players doctors bill & also to grant
proceeds of a benefit match to him to cover
any loss he may have. It was decided
that the match v Marine be for his
benefit, our portion of the gate receipts to
be granted to him.
Merseyside Recreation) Letter read asking for donation
Scheme ) Agreed that same could not be granted
owing to the many calls made upon us at present.
Lancashire ) An application for us to join a
Charity Competition) competition for benefit of unemployed was
not entertained owing to the heavy programme
we had for the remainder of the season.
Everton Shield) Permission was granted for use of
Final Tie ) our ground for this match. Left in Secy.'s
hands to arrange the date.
F. Mitchell Secy. reported that the Football League
had awarded this player £200 as accrued
share of benefit on his transfer to L'pool.
Wigan Borough F. C. An application from this club for
a match at Wigan in April was not
entertained.
