Derby County Mr. W. J. Sawyer reported that he did not

Fryer & Gowan Messrs Gibbins, Wade & McGill reported their
lock, Fleetwood visit to Rochdale, & that Fryer had met with an
injury to his knee after 10 minutes play, they had
seen the Fleetwood Chairman & with his permission
had invited the player to Liverpool to be examined
by our Doctor, that Gowanlock had played
very well & was worth an engagement.
Williams & Stevenson Messrs E. Green & J. Fare reported their visit
Darwen to Darwen and whilst Stevenson did not impress
Williams had played an excellent Game & was
worth engaging.
Decided that Messrs Sawyer, Gibbins & Fare
visit Darwen with powers to £500 for the Transfer
of Williams and if not successful to approach
Fleetwood for the transfer of Gowanlock with
powers to the same amount.
J. Craig's Report from Mr. J. Craig was read

H. Ferguson The Secretary was instructed to obtain
Motherwell from Mr. McAndrew the amount Motherwell had
placed on this mans transfer.
