Williams & Stevenson Messrs E. Green & J. Fare reported their visit Darwen to Darwen and whilst Stevenson did not impress Williams had played an excellent Game & was worth engaging. Decided that Messrs Sawyer, Gibbins & Fare visit Darwen with powers to £500 for the Transfer of Williams and if not successful to approach Fleetwood for the transfer of Gowanlock with powers to the same amount.
