Reports re Players Messrs W. C. Cuff & D. Kirkwood reported that
Dundee v Ayr United Raitt (F. B.), Troup (O. L.) & the I. R. of Dundee had
played well, but that McLead (C. H.) of Ayr was
not good enough. Secy. was instructed to enquire
What transfer fees would be required for the
3 former.
Clyde v Rangers Messrs A. R. Wade & H. Makepeace reported
favorably on Forrest (C. H.) Clyde, but that
Brown (C. F.) was of no use to us. Decided to ask
price required for the former.
Raith Rovers v Messrs E. Green & J. Fare reported that Collier
Hamilton Acas. (L. H.) of Raith Rovers had played very well but
was rather too old for us, also that McMillan
(I. L.) Hamilton, Whilst a clever player was not of
the type required being too small & not forceful enough.
Williams & Messrs W. C. Gibbins & Secy. reported favorably
Stevenson (Darwen) on these two players & stated that fees required
were £750 & £250 respectively.
Ellison (Prescot W. W.) Mr. W. Green again reported favorably on
this player.
Gowanlock & Mr. J. McGill reported very favorably on
Fryer (Fleetwood) these two players. Decided they be seen again
next Saturday.
Lockhead & The Chairman reported on his visit to M/C
Radford M/C U. that Lockhead had played well but Radford
was poor. Decided that owing to price required
for former no further action be taken.
Sale of Programmes Letter read from Programme Syndicate
asking for a lease for 5 years @ £100 a year.
Decided to work in conjunction with the
L'pool F.C. in the matter & report later.
Danish Tour The Secy. produced the arrangements
made by T. Cook & Sons for the Tour & same
were approved.
