Football League Notice was read convening an extra-
ordinary General Meeting at Manchester on
12th inst. to consider question of reducing players
wages. It was stated that a proposition
was likely to be put forward to reduce the
maximum from £9 to £8 in Winter & £6 per
week in close Season & our representatives were
empowered to vote for this providing there
was to be no reduction in prices of admission.
Messrs W. J. Sawyer & Secy. were deputed to attend
the meeting.
