of the Lancs. F.A. meeting re this Cup tie and
stated that we had been drawn to play Bolton
away in preliminary round. It was decided
to offer to play the match on Wed. 26th inst.
League match Secy. reported that P. N. E. had asked
v Preston N. E. us to re-arrange this match for Monday
10th inst. It was agreed to do so Kick off 3:15.
Geo. Mahon Cup The use of the ground for this final
Final was granted on Monday Apl. 24th.
Reports re Players Mr. C. E. Dickinson reported fairly favorably
Evans (Southend) on this player & recommended his services be
obtained if price was reasonable. Secy. stated
price asked was £2000. Decided he be watched
again.
He also reported favorably on their
play of O'Brien (C. H. Leicester City) & Tones (O. L.
Arsenal) but that Curran (Gleason) played poorly.
Williams (Darwen) Mr. E. Green reported that owing to
circumstances this player did not do too well
but he reported favorably on Sharples
(I. L.) of Fleetwood.
Cheshire Cup Semifinal Mr. J. McGill reported favorably on
Barnton Vict. v Stalybridge C. the L. B. & I. L. of Barnton Vic. & Right half
& O. R. of Stalybridge. Decided the two former
