Reports re Players Mr. J. Craig reported favorably on
Scullion (F. B.), Rob Roy & Smith (F. B.) Ayr United
& it was decided he watch the former again.
Timmins (Walsall) Mr. J. Fare reported favorably on this
player & it was agreed he be seen again.
Ransome (St. Helens) Mr. D. Kirkwood reported that this
player was of as use to us.
Football League Secy. reported that Chedgzoy had
v Scottish League been selected to play in these 2 matches
Wales v England on 12th & 14th inst. respectively & that acting
on instructions from Mr. J. McKenna, the
player had been withdrawn from our
team v M/c United today.
Football League In the absence of the Chairman
& F. A. Extra-ordinary the Secy. gave a report on the proceedings
General Meeting at these two Meetings in London on 7th inst.
Shipping League It was agreed to grant the use
of the ground to this League, the arrangements
as to date to be left in Secy.'s hands.
W. Bromwich Albion It was agreed to support the
application of this Club for admission to
the Central League.
Kirsopp Secy. reported a conversation with
The Wednesday F. C. re this player & it was
decided that if they would offer £2000
Secy. be empowered to give the club
permission to approach him.
Birmingham Messrs Banks & Fare were deputed to
Junior Trial Match watch this match on Monday next & if
any of the players were satisfactory, they
have powers to negotiate with any of them.
Secy. also reported that matches were being
played in Birmingham on 16th & 21st inst. & Messrs
Banks & Secy. visit these matches with powers
to act if necessary.
