Jnrs Garston O.B. & Secy. was asked to endeavour
to obtain their service. They also spoke
favorably of Evans (O.L.) Garston O.B.
Chadwick Mr. J. Fare reported favorably on this
(Rossendale) player & it was decided to watch him
again v Rochdale on 11th inst.
Matthews He also reported favorably on this
(Hurst) player who however in his opinion was
too old to be of service to us.
Mort (Rochdale) Secy. reported that this player
was not good enough for us at present.
Jackson ( Vale of Lune) Mr. J. Craig reported favorably on
