Moffat Dr. McMurray reported that this player
was suffering from loose cartilage & recommended
an operation. Decided that Secy. endeavour
to make arrangements for operation to be performed
at Stanley Hospital.
Norwich City F.C. An application from this Club for
the Transfer of one of our backs was left in
hands of Secy. to interview the Club re necessary
arrangements.
Union Film Co. This Coy was refused permission to
take cinematograph pictures on the ground.
Hallows Mr. Kirkwood reported that in his opinion
(St. Edwards Orphanage) this Coy player was not worth our troubling
about at present.
Catholic Schools F.A. An application from this Assocn. for
use of ground on a Saturday in May was
refused, but they were to be offered an evening
in April, the date to be mutually arranged.
Gresford F.C. An application from this Club for us to
send A team to play a benefit match for an
injured player (W. Crump) was agreed to subject
to a suitable date & our bare expenses to be paid.
Knox A letter was read from Mr. J. Weir re
(Airdrieonians) this player & it was decided to reply that
if they would play him once or twice as centre
half in their 1st team we would send someone
to watch him play.
Lyners Benefit An application for us to send team to
play a match in Belfast on Easter Wednesday
was not entertained.
L'pool University F.C. Secy.'s action in arranging a match with
this Club on Feb. 25th was confirmed.
