		payment of J. Clennell's accrued share of benefit.
		It was decided to leave matter over until next

L'pool Challenge Cup	Secy. reported that we had been drawn
		against Skelmersdale United at home on Feb. 11th
		in 3rd Rd. of this Cup, but that he was endeavouring
		to arrange for same to be played on Wed. 8th Feb.

Maddison		Letter read from Club asking if we
(Birtley F.C.)	were now interested in this player. Decided to
		thank them for letter but that we had now
		got a goalkeeper.

Rates			Decided to apply for composition of 
		rates on Goodison Avenue & Gwladys St. property.

Police Charges		Secy. reported that as a result of his
		visit with the delegates of the L'pool F.C. to interview
		Chief Constable, the police had undertaken in
		future to reduce the number of outside men
		previously charged for by 6.

Mason			Secy. reported that as this player would
		not sign C. L. form for a trial he had with the
		permission of the Chairman sent him back home.
