(New Brighton) these players were not of the required standard
for us.
Bacup Borough Mr. W. C. Cuff reported very favorably on
Players the play of Walker (F. B.), Jackson (C. F.) & Parry
(I. L) and it was decided that Secy. proceed
to Bacup to fix them up at best possible
terms, the transfer fee not to exceed £200.
Langford (Merthyr) Mr. J. Fare reported that this player
had again played well & it was decided
that he & Secy. proceed to Darlington to
watch him again tomorrow.
Cant (E. Fife) Mr. J. Craig again reported favorably
on this player.
McDonald Secy. reported that he could not
(Caerau) recommend this player on the display
he gave v Bridgend.
Lancashire Secy. reported result of the meeting
Mid Week League} at Blackburn re formation of this league
but it was decided we do not enter same.
Watkins Mr. J. McGill reported favorably on
(Kidderminster H.) this players & also the left half back
of same team. Decided they be seen again.
L'pool Challenge} Secy.'s action in arranging this
Cup 1st Rd.} match v Whishton Parish Church to be played
at Goodison Park tomorrow & the visiting
team to be guaranteed £5 for their share
of gate was confirmed.
F. A. Cup 1st Rd. Secy. reported we were drawn at home
v Crystal Palace & it was decided to charge
the following prices. Ground Paddock &
ends of Bullens Rd. stand as usual. Present
2/4 stand, all Goodison Rd. Stand & Goal Double
Decker 3/- & Shareholders & Members Stand 5/-.
