& Tranmere R.v Altrincham} except Campbell (Tranmere) showed ability.
Ashcroft (Chester) Mr. J. Fare favorably on this Goalkeeper.
S Davies Mr. W. C. Cuff reported that this player
had been transferred to W. Bromwich Albion
at a fee of £3300 payable as follows £2000 at
once & £1300 on 31st Decr. & Secy. reported receipt
of the former amount.
L'pool Senior Cup Secy. reported that Liverpool were
not agreeable to play this Cup Tie on Decr. 27th.
L'pool Junior Cup Secy. reported that we had been
drawn at home v St. Helens Junct. or Wheston
Parish Church in this competition.
Dead An Application for permission to sell
'Deads' on our ground was Granted Subject
to the Programme Syndicate agreeing to same.
New Brighton F.C. An application from this Club for
match at New Brighton on Decr. 27th was allowed
to stand over pending the Secy. trying to
arrange a Central League match for that date.
Simms (Luton) A letter from the Luton F.C. was read
offering Simms, but in view of enquiries
made it was decided not to entertain the
question.
Bangor F.C. An application from this club for
a fixture on Decr. 26th was not entertained,
but they were to be asked to renew their
application for a date later on.
G. W. Jones Secy. reported an enquiry from the
M/C United F. C. re this player & it was
decided to ask them £4000 for him.
C. L. match v Secy. reported that he was endeavouring
M/C City to get M/C to alter date of this match from
17th to 14th inst. His action was confirmed.
