Minutes The Minutes of Directors & Finance Committee
meetings held on 14th inst. were read & confirmed.
Finance The gate receipts were reported to be
v L'pool Res. gross £267.0.2 Tax £ 66. 6.5
v Stoke Res. " £ 46.2.0 " £ 11.10.3
The 20% from L'pool F. C. was £330.16.8
Bank Balance £9119.7.11 Dr.
Trainers Report Trainer Elliott reported that Crossby
Garrett & Leary would not be fit for Saturday.
Reports of Matches Reports were received of the matches
v Cardiff City 1-2, Stoke Res. 3-0 & Ormskirk D.S & S 2-3.
S. Davies Secy. reported that W. Bromwich Albion
had enquired if we were prepared to part with
this player. It was decided to offer him
and it was left in the hands of the Chairman
& Mr. Cuff to negotiate at best possible terms.
Reports re Players The deputation reported that on the
Cock (Fulham) form displayed this player was not good
enough for us.
Smith (Sheldon) Mr. J. Fare reported unfavourably on
this goalkeeper.
Wood (Huddersfield) Mr. H. Makepeace reported that he did
not consider this player worth our troubling about.
Webster(Stalybridge) Mr. H. Makepeace reported that this
player was very promising & suggested he
be watched.
