Minutes The Minutes of Meetings held on the
1st & 4th inst. & Finance Committee meeting on
the 1st inst. were read & confirmed.
Finance The gate receipts v L'pool on the 5th inst.
were reported to be £3288.15.2 gross tax £679.17.4.
The 20% received from Oldham Ath. was £100.1.10.
Bank Balance £7540.7.2 Dr.
Trainer's Report Trainer Elliott reported all players fit.
Reports of Matches Reports were received of the matches
v L'pool 1-1 & Prescot 0-0.
Reports re Players Messrs Dickinson & Makepeace reported
Cresswell (S. Sheilds) favorably on this players display at Bury
& Secy. stated he had enquired the amount
of transfer for required. Agreed to await reply.
They also reported that Trotter (Bury)
had played a fair game.
Staniforth Mr. J. fare reported that in his opinion
(Mansfield T.) this player was not good enough for us.
Burnscough Rangers Mr. D. Kirkwood reported that none of
this clubs players were of use to us.
Pratt (Celtic) Secy. reported on his interview with
the Celtic F. C. officials & stated that the lowest
price required was £1250. He had offered
£750. Agreed to allow matter to stand over.
Henderson (Rangers) Secy. reported that the Rangers F. C.
were not prepared to part with this player
