(Celtic) offering to take £1500 for this player. It was
decided that Messrs Green & Secy. watch him play
on Sat. next.
Weller
& A deputation from the Chesterfield
Moffat F. C. attended and asked if we were prepared
to transfer these two players. After discussion
the sum of £1500 for the two was asked.
Grenyer ) Secy. read several enquiries from
Clennell) Clubs re these players & it was agreed to
Weller ) fix the following transfer fees viz.
Grenyer £3000, Clennell £2000. & Weller £1000
& to play them in Reserve Team on Sat. next.
Ireland Secy. reported that Chedgzoy & Harrison
v England had been selected for this match at Belfast
on 22nd inst. Decided that Mr. W. C. Cuff represent
the club at the match.
L'pool Wed. ) Permission was granted for the
Hospital Cup) Semi final of this competition to be played
on our ground on 9th Nov.
Lancashire F. A. It was agreed to entertain the
Council of this F. A. to Lunch on the occasion
of their next meeting in Liverpool.
Piano Mr. Dickinson reported that he had
agreed to purchase a piano from Mr. Barker
for £45 & this was confirmed.
