Minutes The minutes of Directors & Finance Committee
Meetings held on the 7th inst. were read & confirmed.
Finance The following gate receipts were reported
Sept. 7 v N'cle United gross £1603.2.2 Tax £337.3.6
" 10 v Birmingham " £2042.13.8 " £429.18.3
The 20% from M/c United was £158.1.8
Bank Balance £6099 Dr.
Fazackerley This player appeared before the Board
to explain his absence from training. His
explanation was accepted, and an application
from him for permission to live at Sheffield
was granted in the first place for 3 months
but to train here on Tuesdays, Wednesdays &
Thursdays and his railway pass to be paid
for.
Trainer's Report Trainer Elliott reported all players
fit except Crossley, Smith & Jones. He was
instructed to see that Garrett attended the Doctor.
Dr. Broad's report Secy. stated that Dr. Broad had
reported that Crossley was improving, but
had to do no work until he examined him
again on Monday next. He had also examined
G. W. Jones & recommended light electrical treatment
for a muscle injury. This was agreed to.
Reports of matches Reports were received of the matches v
B'gham 2-1, B'gham Res. 2-1 & Frodsham Ath. 0-0.
