held at the Bradford Hotel, L'pool
on the 12th August 1919.]

The minutes of the proceedings at a Meeting held
on the 29th July 1919 were read & confirmed.
The Chairman referred to the death of Ex Director Mr.
John Read, & invited the Board to accompany him to
the interment at West Derby on the 13th instant. It was
Resolved that a wreath be sent to Miss Read
with the sympathy of the Directors.
Press The Chairman reported further regarding the
Comments matter of Newspaper comments re the Club & the League &
stated that the Solicitor's costs £10.10.0 had been paid
& £2 sent by the "Lancashire Post" as a Donation to the
Football War Fund.

Public Practice Match on Saturday :-
