That the Annual meeting be held on the 20th June 1919, at the Carlton Hall, Eberle St., Liverpool, & that no proxies be issued by the Club, admission to the meeting to be on presentation of Balance Sheets, which are to be issued by the Secretary. Reports It was reported that the matches played since last meeting were:- v Sheffield Wednesday at Home, result 1-2 v Tranmere Rovers, away. do 1-4 The Chairman gave a resume of the proceedings at the Annual Meetings of the League & Football Association held in London, on the 2nd inst. Players It was reported that the following players had now signed:- Thompson, Brown, Peacock, Gault, Clennell, Miller, McGrae & Chedgzoy. Ordered that Peacock continue to receive compensation for loss of work through injury, until he is reported fit again. Resolved that Pearson be asked what terms he requires, that McConnachie be promised no benefit or special inducement to sign, & that the Board will do what they can for W. Brown re the 2 years already served. That Cooke be sent to see Craig with a view to securing his services, & in the event of non success, we enter into negotiation with Grimsby Town for Mayson, the transfer fee being £200, & the Chairman of that Club having favourably commented on the player's abilities to Mr. Clayton. That Milwall be asked their terms for Fort. That G. W. Jones be given not more than £5 for signing fee & if dissatisfied, he be given his papers.
