W. Brown The Chairman intimated that he had
had an interview with player W. Brown whilst
in Scotland, when he told the man he would be
required by this Club next Season.-
Benefits The question of Players' Benefits was
fully considered after the Chairman had
announced the recent decision of the League
Management Committee to reverse their previous
resolution, thus giving Clubs the opportunity of
paying Benefits.
Resolved that the Committee be asked to
consent to the payment of benefits to Fleetwood,
Jefferis, Chedgzoy, Grenyer & Wareing at the
rate of £500 per player. WRC
Southport The Secretary was instructed to arrange
Central with Southport Central F. C. to play the postponed
fixture on Wednesday 23rd instant.
Davies of Ordered that the offer of Rochdale F. C.
Chirk to transfer Davies of Chirk for £1000 be not
entertained.-
Resolved that
Clark Davies Clarke of Durham be asked to play a trial
match on Easter Monday.
That Mersey Defences Sports Group be
granted the use of the ground for their Charity
match on the 10th may next.
That the St. Mirren Club's request re Wareing
be refused.
That the requests of Nelson of C. & J. W. Howcroft
for the loan of this Club's players for Charity
matches be refused.-
Goodison Avenue That Dr. Molyneux be asked to state the
price, &c., of the houses in Goodison Avenue, which
he is desirous of selling.
