Minutes The minutes of the meting held on
the 21st inst. were read & confirmed.
Finance The gate receipts v Arsenal on Xmas Day
were reported to be £2296.17.3 gross, Enterts. Tax
£470.10.7, 20% Arsenal F.C. £259.3.0, ½% League £8.16.11.
The gate receipts at the Dick Kerrs V
St. Helens Ladies match on Boxing Day were
gross £3034.1.8, Collection £21.6.0, Enterts. Tax
£623.6.4, Expenses £23.1.2.
And v Southport Boxing Day the gate
was £184.10.0 gross, Enterts. Tax £45.18.9.
The 20% received from W. Bromwich
was reported to be £144.3.4.
The Bank Balance was £7325.13.10 Dr.
Trainers Report Trainer Elliott reported all players
fit except Clennell, Brown, Grenyer & Harrison.
Reports of Matches Reports were received of the matches
v Arsenal 2-4 & 1-1. Southport 5-0 & 3-1 & Sutton
Commercial 3-5 & Whiston 3-2.
Mitchell The Chairman reported that nothing
further had been done re this player.
Reports re Players Mr. J. Fare again reported favorably
Moffatt on this player and a letter was read from
the East Fife Club asking £500 for his transfer.
It was agreed that Messrs Green & Fare proceed
to Scotland at the week end with powers to
sign him on.
