Finance The gross gate receipts v Blackburn Rovers on the 2nd inst. were reported to be £2658.14.1 Enterts. Tax £547.0.3 20% to Rovers £298.1.2 & ½% to Football League £10.5.11. The amount received from Blackburn re match on 25th ult. was £224.0.3. The Bank Balance was reported to be £12,157.13.2. Dr. Reports of} Reports were received of the matches Matches } v Blackburn Rovers 2-1, Rovers Res. 3-1 & Sheffield United 0-2. Mayne Messrs Clayton & Kirkwood reported that (Rochdale) this man did not play but reported favorably on the play of Halsall (goal) & Little (C.H.) of Southport. Wadsworth Mr. E. Green reported favorably on the (Nelson) play of this back & Hargreaves (inside left) it was decided that he & Mr. Sawyer watch them again next week & if satisfactory to negotiate for his transfer. Northern Nomads The Secy. reported that Freeman (L.B.) did not play against Burnley but reported favorably on the inside right (Broome) & inside left of the Nomads about whom he was making further enquiries.
