Swift (W.B.A) A letter was read from this player applying
for a position with us. It was decided to leave the
matter in Secy's. hands to make enquiries.
Gregory J. The Secy. reported that the transfer fee
asked by Queens Park Rangers for his player was
£2,500. Agreed to allow matter to lie on table.
Grenyer &) The Chairman reported on his interview
Chedgzoy ) with the President of the Football League who
agreed we could give second benefits after
10 years continuous service. It was decided to
offer them £9 per week for the 52 weeks with
a guarantee of £500 in lieu of a benefit
during season 1921-22.
Fleetwood It was decided that Secy. explain
the question of second benefit to this player.
Gowdy ) The Chairman reported that he had
(Glentoran)) agreed for Mr. A. Coffey & Secy. to proceed to Belfast
tomorrow to watch this player and it was
agreed that if they were satisfied they have
power to negotiate for his transfer.
Daniels (P. N.E.) The Secy. was instructed to try & see
this player with a view to an engagement.
Farrer P. The Secy. was given power to sign
this player on up to £3 per week.
Paterson The Chairman reported on this player
& it was agreed that he try & arrange a meeting
with the player & Secy. in Glasgow.
