15 [At a Meeting of Directors held at the Bradford Hotel, Liverpool on the 11th March 1919] Present:- W. R. Clayton Esq. (in the Chair) H. Banks Esq. J. G. Davies Esq. A. Coffey Esq. R. T. Francis Esq. John Davies Esq. E. Green Esq. H. Halsall Esq. The Chairman referred to the presence of Messrs H. Banks & H. Halsall after their illnesses & expressed the hope that their health would be maintained. The Minutes of the proceedings at a Meeting held on the 4th instant were read & confirmed. Reports It was reported that the Match v Preston North End resulted in a win 3-2. Messrs E. Green & R. T. Francis reported re the Reserve fixture at Waterloo, the result being 4-0 for this club. The Chairman gave a resume of the business transacted at the League Meeting in Manchester on the 10th inst. & also intimated that the Championship games between this Club & Nottingham Forrest would be played on the 10th & 17th May next, at Nottingham & Goodison Park respectively. Finance The Gross Gate of the Match at Bolton on the 1st inst. was reported to be £1,022.9.2, the Expenses £271.15.7 leaving the Net Gate 750.13.7, this Club's proportion being £150.2.9, Cheque for which had been received & paid to Bank. The Gross Gate on Saturday last was stated to be £842.8.8, the Expenses £244.16.11, & the Net Gate £597.11.9, Preston North End F. C. receiving £199.10.4.
