The minutes of the proceedings at a meeting on
the 1st inst. were read & confirmed.
Finance Secy. reported that the amount recd
from Oldham Athletic re match on 28th ult. was £116.3.4
and from Manchester United re match on 6th inst.
was £230.17.2.
The gross gate v M'chester United Res. on
6th inst. was reported to be £332:1:6 Enterts. Tax £82.13.11.
The Bank Balance was reported to be £9301.18.1 Dr.
Cheques were presented & signed for the
following:-
Collector of Customs & Excise Enterts Tax £93.13.1
T. H. McIntosh Wages &c. £300. 0.0
Reports of Reports were received of the matches
matches v M'chester united 0-1, M'chester United Res 2-0
& L'pool Rubber Co. 3-0.
R. Downs The Secy. reported that he had signed
this player on an agreement up to end of
Season 1921-2 at £10 per week up to 1st May next
& limit wage afterwards & had paid the transfer
fee of £2,400. Action confirmed.
Crossley Messrs Coffey & Green gave a favorable
report re this player, but the Secy. reported he
had been to Oldham on the 8th inst but the
Sunderland Club were not agreeable to transfer
the player now.
Paterson & Smith Mr. Banks & Secy. reported that the play
of these two men on Thursday last was not satisfactory.
