H) of Saltney were useful players Mr. Halsall reported that neither of the Winsford United or Altrincham full backs were of use to us. Messrs Coffey & Green reported that Downs of Barnsley had played well. They had interviewed the Barnsley Directors who were prepared to accept a transfer fee of £2,400. The Secy. was instructed to proceed to Barnsley to sign this player on at that figure. J. Craig's reported on Henderson &
