John Davies Esq. H. Halsall Esq. The Minutes of the proceedings of the Directors at a Meeting held on the 30th day of September 1919, were read & confirmed. Reports Reports of Saturday's games were given, the results being adverse, viz:- 1st Team 1-3 & Reserve 0-3. Finance It was reported that the Gross Gate at Sunderland on the 27th ultimo was £1318.2.2, Expenses £323.15.0, leaving the Balance £994.6.4, 20% of which is £198.17.3, Cheque was which has been received & paid to Bank. The Gross Gate on Saturday last was £2,577. 4.4 Entertainment Tax, Referee Linesmen &c. 580.11.9 leaving a Balance of £1,996.12.7. After payment of ½% to the League, the Net Gate was £1986.12.11, 20% of which to the Visiting Club £397.6.7 left a balance of £1,589.6.4 Cheques were signed as follows:- Customs & Excise Tax £543.14.9 League percentage 9.19.8 Sunderland F.C. 397. 6.7 Secretary, Wages &c. 200. 0.0 The Bank Balance was declared to be £2,432.3.7 Dr. Mr. R.
