Blackpool F.C. The Secretary reported that Mr. McKenna
had communicated with Blackpool F.C.
on our report - that Blackpool had replied
denying the allegations & demanding the
name of the club responsible for the state-
ment. That Blackpool had written to
Port Vale F.C. & to us enquiring if the clubs
concerned had made the statement.
The Secretary was instructed to reply to
Blackpool's letter to the effect that one of
their players resident in L'pool District was
seen in Blackpool on Sunday morning & that
he returned to L'pool on the evening of the same
Sunday Jany. 20, & that the said player had
informed some of our players that he had permission
to stay over in Blackpool wherever his team
was at home & that he had in fact lodged
at the Imperial Hotel.
