The Secretary reported that Liverpool F.C.
had viewed the granting by us of the use of
our ground to the Walker Charity Cup & Graysons
on the 10th and the 24th inst. respectively as
requiring some explanation in view of the
understanding existing between the two clubs.
That he, the Secretary, had replied that we
considered that charity games were not
a breach of understanding & this view was
confirmed & the Secretary instructed to
reply accordingly & to add a suggestion
that for the future applications for the use of the grounds be
only considered after a conference of the
clubs.
