[Meeting of Directors held at Bradford Hotel Jany.
9th 1917.]

Minutes The minutes of the last two meetings were
read confirmed & signed.
Reports The games at Blackburn & v Bootle Junrs
were reported.
The Secretary reported that the Chairman Mr.
Clayton & he had that morning attended a
deputation from the L'pool Club at their request.
That Mr. McKenna had reported that several
clubs had intimated their inability to carry
out their remaining engagements unless
financial assistance were forthcoming.
After discussion it was resolved that the
respective representatives recommend their
club to donate a sum of not exceeding
£150 which with a similar hoped for
contribution from Manchester City would
raise a sum of £450 which amount Mr.
McKenna thought would suffice to pay
the travelling expenses of Bury, Blackpool,
Oldham & Bolton Wanderers for the rest of
the season & so secure the due fulfilment
