Davies Halsall Minutes The Minutes of the last Meeting were read & confirmed. Painting The Secretary read letter from Mr. R. W. Contract Burnand thanking the Directors for their voluntary grant of £30. Reports The Secretary reported That our appeal against the Assessment of £1250 to the poor rate was heard this Morning & that such assessment had been reduced to £950. That Francis Morton & Co. regretted their inability to repair the roof of the Goodison Double Deck Stand owing to pressure of Government work but that they would be glad to supply the materials. Resolved that 200 tiles & quantity of 1¾in Copper nails be purchased & Mr. Naylor asked to undertake the work. The purchase of 2 new flags at a cost of 39/3 was confirmed.
