Mr. Burnand and several other firms, he, on the
instructions of Messrs Kelly & Banks, had compiled
a list of work to be done on the various Stands and had
sent a copy thereof to each of the firms tendering,
requesting them to say whether the items comprised
therein had been taken into account when tendering
and that he had received replies from each of the
tendering firms that this had been done. That whilst
such list did not include the painting of the underside
of the roof of Bullens Road Stand, Mr. Burnand had
specifically included it in his tender. That Mr. Burnand
had now stated that he had so included it in error
and that he had not calculated doing so when fixing
		his price.
After considerable discussion, the Directors felt disposed
to make Mr. Burnand an ex gratia payment and
Messrs Banks, Kelly, and the Secretary were appointed
to settle the matter with Mr. Burnand by a payment
		not exceeding £30.

Poor Law	The Secretary was instructed to give the particulars requested
Assessment	by the Rating Surveyor to the West Derby Union in reference
to our objection to the Assessment made by the Poor Law
		authorities.
