Francis Esq. John Davies Esq. H. Halsall Esq. The Minutes of the proceedings at a Meeting held on the 14th instant were read & confirmed. The Minutes of the Finance Committee at a Meeting held on the 14th instant, were read, approved & confirmed. Reports The result of the Home match on the 18th inst. was reported to be 3-1 for this Club, The Chairman further Injured players, reported the injuries to J. Miller & R. Thompson thereat. Ordered that these two cases be reported to the League for participation in the Insurance benefits. Mr. A. Coffey reported re the Reserve Match at Horwich the score being 7-1 in favour of the Home Team, Jas. Jones being injured in this fixture. Gaming on The Chairman referred to Mr. John Lewis' complaint Ground re Gaming on the Ground at the Blackburn Rovers game & stated that he had interviewed the Head Constable on the subject, as a result of which the Police will make a raid during the Manchester City match on the 1st proximo. Auditors The Secretary reported that he had interviewed, & arranged with, the Co's Auditors re the fortnightly examina -tion of the Books, & had also seen Mr. W. C. Cuff regarding the papers connected with Income Tax under Schedule D. J. Donnachie The Chairman reported the interview with the Oldham Athletic Representatives re J. Donnachie's transfer when they asked for £650. Resolved that the sum of £300 be offered to the said
