Schools F.A. Letter read from the Liverpool Schools Football
Association asking for the use of Goodison Park for the
1st Round of the English Schools Shield (Liverpool v
Preston).
Resolved that they be informed that the
Directors will be pleased to grant them the use of
the Ground for the Match on Boxing day provided
Liverpool Football Club raise no objection.
Lancashire In response to the request of the Lancashire
Football Assocn.) Football Association, it was.
Resolved that Dr. J. C. Baxter be & is
nominated by this Club as successor to Mr. J. McKenna
who has been elected a Vice-President of that Assocn.
J. B. Johnson & Co. Messrs J. B. Johnson & Co. of Liverpool having
Balce. of a/c written requesting payment of the Balance of their
Account £204.11.4 for work done.
Resolved that this Club cannot see its
way to pass the account as rendered, no reduction
having been made in the amount thereof as
anticipated. Also that the firm be asked to fix
an appointment with Mr. H. Banks & Mr. W. C. Cuff
to again discuss the matter.
Blackpool F.C. The Receipts at Blackpool on the 7th inst.
Receipts were reported to be £120.5.7, & the amount received
by this Club in respect of the 20%, £15.18.0.
Next Meeting Ordered that the next meeting of the Board
be held at the Bradford Hotel on the 17th December at
3.15 pm.
