The Secretary reported that the amount
collected last Saturday in the streets (&
exclusive of boxes) in aid of the Meredith
Marine Fund £1.12.4 had been handed to
Mr. B. Lipson who was in charge of the
arrangements.
An application by the Gatemen for an
increase of pay was considered & it was
resolved that the pay for first team
games be 6/- and for second team games
3/6. 4/-
Goodison The Secretary submitted Messrs J. B. Johnson's
Roof a/c for £456.19.6 for work done.
Having explained that the tender for
reslating the roof for £276.10.0 accepted
by us was included in such charge it
was resolved that Messrs J. B. Johnson's
request for £300 on a/c (£100 having
already been paid to them) be declined &
that a payment of £176.10.0 the balance
of the amount covered by the tender be paid
& that Mr. J. B. Johnson be requested to
meet Mr. Banks & the Secretary and go
into the details of the a/c & report thereon.
The next meeting was fixed for Oct. 8th at 3.30.
The Secretary was instructed to ask Mr.
J. B. Johnson to give an estimate for the
repair of the wall behind the goal double
deck stand.
