		It was reported that the Liverpool Club had promised
		medals and the President of the Lancashire Combination
		one of their Cups for the winners.

		The Secretary was instructed to write letters to those selected
		to represent the Club in the first of such matches urging
		them to get themselves into the best possible condition so
		that a successful commencement might be made in a
		strong endeavour to secure the medals and Cup.

		The Secretary read letters of thanks from the St. Dunstan's
		Hostel, The British Red Cross Society and The Union of Boys'
		Clubs respectively for the donations recently sent to them.

Ground Staff	Mr. Kelly and the Secretary were instructed to arrange for
		the appointment of an Assistant Groundsman.

Burgess		The Secretary reported that he had interviewed Burgess who
		had given a promise to assist Brynn, but that he would
		be available for us in any of our first team matches whenever
		called upon.
		The Secretary was accordingly instructed to see Donnachie
		with a view to his taking the outside right position and
		so making an opening for Burgess.

Proceeds of	The Chairman reported that he had not as yet seen Dr.
Baseball	Commins hereon but that he had written him suggesting
matches		that these monies be paid over to the Local Prisoners of
		War Fund.

Dinner &	The Secretary was instructed to confer with the players
Concert to	with a view to arranging a suitable evening in the near
Players		future for a dinner and concert to the players at the
