Harlands A letter of thanks from the Bootle Branch
v Bootle T. Co. of the Sportsman's Ambulance Fund was
read.
The payment of a further levy of ten pounds
to the Mutual Insurance Federation was
passed.
An application for the use of the ground on Apl.
13 by the L'pool County F.A. for a match in
aid of the Football National War Fund
was granted subject to alteration of date to
May 11th.
Thompson The Secretary reported that Thompson had
for 13 weeks received from his Society the
sum of 12/- per week & he was instructed to
obtain from him a refund of £7.16.0 and
remit same to the Federation.
Goodison The Secretary read his letter of the 28th ult.
Roof to Messrs J. B. Johnson & Co. hereon and their
reply of yesterday. He was instructed to
say that copper nails if obtainable must
be used, failing which zinc nails of the
pattern supplied by Mr. Banks & to be
enclosed must be used in preference to
those submitted by Messrs Johnson.
