That the Scheme was launched, that the F.A. had promised to transfer £5000 from the Benevolent Fund to the new fund & that the Management Committee at their meeting on the 14th inst. had promised their full assistance and that it was probable that the playing of Matches during May & August for the benefit of the fund would be sanctioned.
