The Secretary reported that the gross receipts
last Saturday were £204.18.9 and that
the collection for the Bell Fund realized
£21.10.0.
It was resolved that a Donation of Three
guineas be made to the fund and that
this amount with the amount collected be
paid into the fund organised by the City
Coroner.
The following payments were passed
To the Football League:-
? £6.7.3 4% for Charitable objects and
1/11/10 £1.11.10 1% for Working Expenses
£30.15.0 Duty on the gate receipts
£2.7.2 " " Season Tickets to Sep 1 inst
£30.4.8 20% of net gate to Southport Central
£10.0.0 first call by League Insurance Federation
The Secretary reported a conversation with Mr
McKenna who suggested that a combined
team of L'pool & Everton reserves play two
games each with South Liverpool & Tranmere
Rovers clubs to augment their funds & so
enable them to offer inducements to clubs
to arrange fixtures with them during the
Season as otherwise they would find it very
difficult to carry on. The consideration
thereof was deferred.
