The Council thanks the Everton F.C. for it’s generous
offer but it is of opinion that as all our Associations
and Clubs are already rendering all possible assistance
both financially and otherwise it is not desire able to
institute the Competition suggested.

The Secretary was granted permission to send a team
to play a team of the 3rd Battalion South Lancashire
Regiment at Waterloo.
Robson Mr. Clayton was deputed to see this player play on
Saturday next at Blackpool and report.
Holmes Mr. Kelly was deputed to see this centre forward play
at Crewe on Saturday next and report.
The Secretary was instructed to send Settle to see
the Darlington team play on Saturday next and
report on the Darlington centre forward.
The Secretary reported the receipt of a recommendation
of Morgan centre forward of Bargoed. Mr. Clayton
promised to send his Cardiff representative to make
a report on this player’s abilities.
