The Secretary reported that the following third
team matches had been cancelled owing to the War:-
Chester Nomads, Prenton (October 24th) Sealand
United and Marine.
The Secretary reported that we were drawn against
Bury in the Lancashire Cup at Goodison Park on
the 5th October; he was instructed to request
permission to play the Tie on the 7th prox.
The Secretary reported that Johnstone F.C. had requested
the loan of our late Goalkeeper, Hodge, for their Cup
Tie on Saturday last and that on the instructions of
the Chairman he had consented thereto but it did
not appear that he was played.
The Secretary was instructed to accede to the
application of Mr. J. H. MacCann for a Ground Ticket
