		Union of Clubs for Boys and Young men to assist the
		Union in paying Referees expenses.

		An application by Stanley Cricket Club for the use
		of our ground on August 8th was declined the
		ground being considered totally unfitted for cricket.

		The Secretary was instructed to arrange the Club
		Picnic to be held on August 18th and to arrange
		with the New Brighton Motor Coach Co. to take the
		entire party to Bettws-y-coed as last year returning
		via Llangollen.

J. Taylor	The Secretary reported having received from William
		McArthur a strong recommendation with regard to
		a centre forward named J. Taylor, and that on the
		Chairman's instructions he had sent John Fare to
		report on his play, that John Fare had reported
		that whilst he was young (aged 21) big (5 ft 10 ins.)
		and was the best player on his side yet the quality
		of football displayed was such as to make him hesitate
		in recommending his engagement. That on receipt of
		a further letter from McArthur he the Secretary had,
		as instructed by the Chairman, gone to Stirling to
		see Taylor play, that on this occasion he had
		displayed no form whatever but that he had arranged
		with him to come down and play one or two trials
		for us in August. That he had received a letter
		from McArthur today stating that Taylor had
		declined to sign a Central League from but would
		come down as promised.
		The Secretary was thereupon instructed to report
		his request as to one or two trial games.
