Scrutineers The following gentlemen were appointed Scrutineers:-
Messrs Sandbach, Francis, Rowlands, Bradshaw,
Ashworth, Cumpsty, Ford and Comus.
The proxies having been allotted by the auditor
(Mr. Bowler) to the various proxy holders, it was
resolved that the election be by ballot.
The result of the voting was as follows:-

Mr. H. Halsall 399
Mr. G. F. T. Nicholls 185
The Chairman thereupon declared Messrs Wright,
Davies and Halsall duly elected to the Directorate.
Mr. Thomas Wood proposed, Mr. E. Gledhill seconded,
and it was unanimously resolved that Messrs T.
Theodore Rogers Bowler & Co. be reappointed auditors
to the Company at a fee of Fifty guineas.
The Secretary read out a list of players engaged
for next season.
Mr. Charles Wright proposed, Mr. Seth Backhouse
seconded, that a hearty vote of thanks be accorded
to the Directors and Officials for their services.
