[Meeting of Directors held at the Bradford Hotel
April 12th 1916.]

Minutes The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
The Secretary reported that the League Management
Committee had declined to sanction the replaying of
our abandoned game with Oldham Athletic on a week day.
Lord Mayor's The Chairman reported that the Lord Mayor had applied
Roll of Honour to the Football Association for permission to grant medals
Week Fund to the teams taking part in the proposed match for the above
Fund on the 6th prox. at Anfield and that the Secretary
to the Football Association had replied withholding such
consent.
That Liverpool F. C. at their meeting yesterday had resolved
to make an appeal to the Emergency Committee and it was
resolved that we make a similar appeal for the granting
of such Medals.
The Lord Mayor's appeal to the Sportsmen of the District
was read and it was resolved that the suggestions contained
in such appeal be considered at our next meeting.
